Trip 2007
            Trip 2
008

cote vermeille

Here is a short relaxing trip, between the sea and the mountains surrounding us as we cross the Catalan countryside. We will take the most beautiful paths from Banuyls sur Mer, to the pretty city of Cadaquès.

This coast symbolises the meeting of two giants, the Mediteranean and the Pyrenees. When the latter falls into the sea, it forms isolated bays, erroded caps, tormented by the elements in a splender of beauty. The Vermeille coast is dotted with villages as magnificent as its surrounding nature.

We will alternate between paths taking us along the coast, passing magnificant creeks and caps sculted by the wind and the sea, to interior paths taking us to the summits of the most dominant pics, offering us a splendid panorama of the sea and its coast line.

We will discover many different aspects of Catalan life, as much the french culture as the spanish, along with the opening of the first spring flowers.

The cost of this wonderful excursion is 385 Euro per person, this includes the cost of the hostel, all meals, organization and guide for the trip. Transport to Colioure, and individual insurance are at your own expense. However, I can help you to find good flight and transport deals.
