Sicily, the crossroads of the Mediterranean, is an island of a great cultural and histoiric richess. It's been marked by the passage of the most reknowned civilizations, the Phoenicians, Greeks, Romans, Muslims, Normans… It is an island which abounds in a pricious natural heritage and an incredible geographical diversity.  One will discover here, an invaluable craft industry, monuments with seizing architecture, landscapes of a great purity, paradisiac beaches and an intense blue sea.

We will visit many sites of  great interest: the old town of Palermo and its cathedral; Céphalù which by itself summarizes all sicilian history; medieval Erice; the greco-Roman temples of Ségeste or Sélinonte; the Roman villa of Casale and its mosaics.

We will walk in the splendid reserve of Lo Zingaro, located in the middle of the Golf of Castellamare. On pleasant paths overhang  the sea we will go down to bathe in splendid small coves.

We will remain in the reserve of Etna, where rises the largest European volcano (3320 m). Although it is still active and has several times shown its destructive power, these extremely fertile slopes are cultivated and inhabited by thousands of people. Here, we may appreciate unforgettable landscapes.

The cost of this wonderful excursion is 830 Euro per person, this includes accomodation, all meals, transport during the week, organization and guided tours. Transport to Trapani, and individual insurance are at your own expense. However, I can help you to find good flight and transport deals.
